ClearSanction Audit Reports bring together available evidence from relevant parts of the screening and review lifecycle, helping compliance teams retain a clearer record of what was screened, what was returned and how the result was reviewed.
A search result records what the screening returned. A useful compliance record also needs the available context around how the screening was performed and what review followed.
Audit Reports bring that evidence together so the screening event can be understood as a process rather than viewed as an isolated result.
Where available for the underlying event, the Audit Report records the screened subject and relevant screening configuration.
This establishes the starting point for the evidence record: who or what was screened and the configuration used for that screening.
The report can retain the screening result together with Potential Matches and their Match Score.
A Potential Match remains a result for analyst review. The report does not turn a Potential Match into a confirmed sanctions match.
Available identity evidence and underlying source evidence help explain the returned Potential Match.
This gives the reviewer or later reader more context than a name and score alone, while recognising that the evidence available depends on the underlying source and event.
Where available, analyst review or decision information can form part of the Audit Report.
Selected Case Management information and case events may also be included where relevant.
Investigation notes are not currently included in Audit Report v2.
Where applicable, Continuous Monitoring evidence and persisted historical screening evidence can contribute to the wider record.
This helps retain continuity between the original screening and relevant later activity without presenting monitoring as a mandatory stage after report generation.
Where supported by the underlying event, methodology and provenance information can help explain the screening context and the basis of the retained evidence.
An Audit Report is a retained record of available screening and review evidence.
It can support internal compliance review and audit, but it does not:
No. The Audit Report is an evidence record that can bring together available information from the screening and review lifecycle, rather than simply reproducing the returned result.
No. The evidence available depends on the underlying screening or monitoring event and the activity associated with it.
No. It records available evidence of the screening and review process. An organisation remains responsible for its own compliance decisions, controls and obligations.
Use ClearSanction to screen, review and retain available evidence of the process.
